Exhaust extraction in a vehicle hall

The fans start when a door opens, and pollution sensors monitor the air.

The home screen shows the hall from above with doors, fans and pollution sensors, with extraction, air quality, ventilation and the control cabinet in one place. Redrawn in AndOr’s HMI standard.

About the system

In a vehicle hall, exhaust has to be removed as soon as vehicles are started. The HMI system shows the doors, fans, air quality, ventilation and the status of the control cabinet.

Key features

  • Extraction starts when a door opens: dampers open and the fan goes to full speed
  • After the doors close the fan runs at lower speed for a set time and stops
  • Push buttons in the hall run all fans for a few minutes
  • CO₂ and NO sensors with trend charts, and a warning before the upper limit is reached
  • Delays, speeds and times set on screen
  • Cabinet monitoring: supply, circuit breakers and 24 V branch protection
  • A monthly report from the logged data

Each fan with its doors: speed, damper and mode. The trend shows full speed while a door is open and a lower speed for a set time after the doors close. Settings and manual run are on the same screen. Redrawn in AndOr’s HMI standard.

The solution comes from our earlier projects. The screens are redrawn in AndOr’s HMI standard, and the values shown are examples.
